General terms and conditions of Vendtec GmbH, Grabenstrasse 15a, 6340 Baar, Switzerland. Last updated: October 2026.

1. Scope

These general terms and conditions (terms) apply to the use of the website ignite-official.ch and to all offers, services and deliveries of Vendtec GmbH ("Vendtec"), unless an individual contract provides otherwise.

Individual contracts, such as partner agreements, licence, rental or service contracts, and offers take precedence over these terms.

2. Offers on the website

The content of this website, including prices, earnings examples and calculators, is for general information and is not binding. It does not constitute a binding offer. The scope of services, prices and terms are set out in the respective individual agreement. Orders in the online shop are governed by section 4.

3. Services

Vendtec develops, operates and distributes vending machines and the related software. Age-restricted products are only sold at the machines after an ID check. The website describes in particular the following offers:

Location partnerships

Vendtec places a vending machine in suitable venues at no cost to the partner. Vendtec takes care of delivery, installation, stock, restocking, maintenance and payment processing. The machine remains the property of Vendtec. The partner provides the space, a power socket and, where possible, mobile reception or Wi-Fi. The partner receives a share of sales, paid out quarterly with a statement of sales in accordance with the partner agreement. The share per sale, term and placement are set out in a partner agreement. According to the offer description, a placement usually starts with a three-month pilot. The provisions of the partner agreement prevail.

Vending software for operators

Vendtec licenses its vending software (shop, payment, age verification, fleet dashboard, API and AI support agent) to operators of their own vending machines. A demo and a pilot with a few machines are followed by the rollout at an annual price per machine. The scope of the rights of use, prices, term and support are governed by the respective licence agreement.

Smart Snax (rental)

Smart Snax is an AI fridge that Vendtec rents out itself. According to the offer description, the rent starts at CHF 379 per month excl. VAT. According to the offer description, delivery and installation, card and mobile payment, the dashboard, and service and repairs are included. Restocking by Vendtec is optional. Smart Snax does not sell age-restricted products. Smart Snax is not yet available. The individual rental terms and the rental contract prevail.

24/7 hotel concierge Piccolo

Piccolo is a digital guest service for hotels on WhatsApp. It is offered at a fixed monthly price plus a one-off setup fee. Prices stated on the website exclude VAT and include WhatsApp fees. For the processing of guest data, Vendtec and the hotel conclude a data processing agreement. The individual offer and the contract prevail.

Product distribution

Vendtec is the Swiss distribution partner of Knox and Ignite and supplies partners in retail and hospitality. Wholesale orders are governed by individual offers and terms. Orders via the online shop ignite-official.ch are governed by section 4.

4. Online shop ignite-official.ch

Through the online shop ignite-official.ch, Vendtec, as the exclusive Swiss distributor of IGNITE, sells reusable vapes containing nicotine (the rechargeable pod systems P15 Duo and P45 Plus and P45 Pod Refills, 20 mg/ml nicotine) and spirits (tequila and vodka, 40% vol.). The following provisions also apply to orders in the online shop. Where they differ from the other sections of these terms, they take precedence.

Scope

These provisions apply to orders placed by consumers and B2B customers via the online shop. Orders can be placed as a guest or with a customer account. B2B customers can register for a B2B account with wholesale prices. Vendtec activates the B2B account. For B2B terms, individual agreements take precedence over these provisions.

Minimum age 18

Vendtec only sells nicotine products and spirits to persons aged 18 and over. When ordering, the customer confirms by ticking a checkbox that they are at least 18 years old. Vendtec may request proof of age and cancel orders without proof.

Conclusion of the contract

The presentation of products in the online shop is not a binding offer. By submitting an order, the customer makes a binding offer to purchase. The automatic email acknowledging receipt only confirms that the order has been received and does not constitute acceptance. The contract is concluded when Vendtec accepts the order with an order confirmation or ships the goods.

Prices

Prices in the online shop are stated in Swiss francs (CHF) including 8.1 % VAT, plus shipping costs. A volume discount applies to vapes: 10 % from 5 items and 15 % from 10 items. Prices are subject to change. The price at the time of the order applies.

Payment

Payments are processed by the payment service provider wallee AG. The available payment methods are TWINT, PostFinance Pay, PostFinance Card, PostFinance E-Finance and bank transfer (prepayment). Direct bank transfer is also available. For prepayment (bank transfer via wallee or direct bank transfer), Vendtec ships the goods once payment has been received.

Delivery

Vendtec only delivers within Switzerland, with Swiss Post. Delivery usually takes 1 to 3 working days after receipt of payment (prepayment) or after the order (other payment methods). Delivery times are not binding. The customer receives shipment tracking by email. Shipping costs CHF 10.00 and is free from an order value of CHF 100. Benefit and risk pass to the customer when the goods are handed over.

Returns and warranty

Swiss distance selling law does not provide a statutory right of withdrawal. Voluntary returns are not offered. In particular, for reasons of hygiene and youth protection, Vendtec does not take back opened pods, devices or bottles.

Defects and transport damage must be reported to Vendtec within 7 days of receipt of the goods (contact as per section 10). For justified defects, Vendtec delivers a replacement or refunds the purchase price. Any further warranty is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Battery and disposal

The devices contain a lithium battery. Used devices can be returned free of charge to points of sale or collection points in accordance with the Swiss Ordinance on the Return, Take-back and Disposal of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (VREG).

Health warning: nicotine

The vapes contain nicotine. Nicotine is a highly addictive substance. Products containing nicotine are not intended for pregnant women or non-smokers.

5. Prices

Prices on the website are stated in Swiss francs (CHF), exclude VAT and are not binding. Prices and payment terms are determined by the individual offer and the contract. Prices in the online shop are an exception: they include VAT, and section 4 applies.

6. Liability

Vendtec is only liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law. Any liability for indirect and consequential damage is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Vendtec strives to keep the website available with as few interruptions as possible but cannot guarantee this.

7. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including texts, images, graphics and logos, is the property of Vendtec GmbH or the respective rights holders and is protected by copyright. Any reproduction, distribution or other use of this content requires the prior written consent of Vendtec GmbH.

9. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Zug, Switzerland. Mandatory statutory places of jurisdiction remain reserved.
